1)  Have your parent give you a practice spelling test.  Write any missed word 5x each in Sp. notebook.

2) Math rounding review worksheet

3) Review chapter one vocabulary and foldable in Math notebook

**Math test chapter 1 is moved to Tuesday to give us an extra day to review**

**School picture day is 9/13.  Forms were sent home yesterday**

9/7 homework

1) read 20 min everyday

2) write each spelling word 2x in the  correct category in notebook. Categories are: -s, -es, -ies

3) math p. 39-40

9/6 Homework

Read 20 min everyday
10 double word spelling sentences.  Use 2 spelling words in each sentence.
Math p. 33-34

We practiced lockdown drills today at school.  Students know what to do when they hear the announcement for lockdown.  Some students were nervous, but I reassured them that it is just a way to practice staying safe in a situation where there is an intruder on campus. You might want to follow up this with a discussion at home.
