The Native American projects that came in look fabulous! Thank you to parents for your guidance and help on these projects. The students had time to look at classmates' projects. Then we grouped all the homes of the same tribes to make villages, which will remain in our classroom on display for a while. Stop by to see them if you can. There will be another Social Studies project, this time on a famous American, going home next week.

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday. We will be going to Mass as a whole school at 8:30.

Here's what we are learning:
Language Arts--theme, words with consonant blends, adjectives. Spelling tests on Thursday and Friday, story test on Friday.

Math-- dividing with divisors up to 10, choosing an operation to solve word problems, finding missing dividends and divisors by using the inverse operation and fact families. There will be a test next week. Every Friday we are taking a 100 point multiplication fact test. This is a timed test.
