Week of 9-22

Third grade will take our annual ITBS tests beginning on Monday 9-22 continuing through 10-3. There is nothing students can do to prepare for these tests but show up on time rested and with a  positive attitude. These tests measure achievement in all academic areas.

Please take time to review school uniform rules and make sure students are in proper uniforms. That includes shirt tucked in.

Week of 9-15

NWEA test for Math is Wednesday 9-17. This sets our baseline which we measure growth against when we take out mid year and end of the year tests. Students cannot prepare for this test but show up rested and ready.

Religion chapter 2 test on Thursday 9-18. 

Week of 9-8-14

Chapter 1 Math test Tuesday 9-9

NWEA tests for 3rd grade are scheduled for 9-10 and 9-17. The test will begin around 8:45. There is nothing students can do to prepare for these tests other than coming to school rested and ready.  These first round of tests give us a starting point for the year to measure growth. 

Please return the sheet indicating choice for music program. Note that the after school practice for violin and cello are a mandatory requirement to participate in the instrumental program. There is no extra practice for the vocal program. 

$1 dress day on Wednesday to raise money for ALS. 

Week of 9-2

This Thursday is picture day! Forms went out last Thursday.  

This week students will take their iready diagnostics which will place them at their just-right level for independent instruction during the blended learning rotations. 

Because it's a short week, there will be no new spelling words, and no spelling or reading tests. 

Chapter 1 Math test next Tuesday, 9-9.
